A night image of train tracks heading towards the Milky Way Galaxy in the USA.

I’m always appreciative of the great work Washington Writers’ Publishing House does, and if you’re looking for a steady stream of local fiction & poetry, check them out (and support them!). Very cool to have my super short “Ghost Poem” included in Pt 2 of their BIG Tiny Poems collection. (Reminder: it was my pleasure and honor to have a poem included in their recent anthology This is What America Looks Like.)

Ghost Poem

I don’t believe

in ghosts,

but I live

near the train tracks,

and when that whistle blows

at 3 AM, it’s hard to imagine

there’s anything human out there,

making the world run on time.
