An oldie but goodie from summer of 2018.

I had the pleasure of talking with good friend, literary rock star, and 1455 Advisory Board member Bethanne Patrick (AKA @TheBookMaven) about…everything. It’s at once refreshing and encouraging to hear about many of the plans that seemed aspirational and have already have been achieved. For starters, rebranding from Virginia Center for Literary Arts to 1455 (much more on that, here). Little did we know, for instance, that we would (or could) have pulled off our first literary festival, or kicked off a robust program of readings, workshops, and community-building events.

Video, it’s said, or it didn’t happen. Well, it happened, and here’s the video. Thanks again to Bethanne, and thanks for everyone who continues to help us edge this dream ever closer to reality.
